Questions, answered
Can I use Repoker with a personal project?+
Not directly. GitHub only lets apps like Repoker read organization Projects, not personal (user-owned) ones. Put your board under an organization and install Repoker there, and it can pull tickets and write estimates back.
What does Repoker need access to?+
You authorize a GitHub App on the organization that owns your board. Repoker reads the board to show tickets and writes back only the estimate you agree on. It never reads or touches your code.
What gets written back to my board?+
Only the final number the table agrees on, to the Project field you pick. Nothing else on the issue is changed, and you choose the field it writes to.
Who can vote in a room?+
Anyone with the room link can pick a card. Votes stay face-down until the facilitator reveals, and only the facilitator confirms the estimate that writes to the board.
Is there a browser extension?+
Yes. The Chrome extension adds a Point in Repoker button to GitHub issues and boards, so you can run a session and write estimates back without leaving GitHub. It's also on Firefox.
